Our first production run is officially done. Every bag, case, and accessory is made, packed, and sitting at the port in Vietnam, loaded into two full 40-foot shipping containers and ready to head to our players.
If you pre-ordered or backed us on Kickstarter, here's exactly where your gear stands and what happens between now and your doorstep.
One schedule change
The ocean carrier moved the ship's departure from October 1 to October 5. Sailing schedules are set by the carrier, not by us, and shipping across the whole industry has been slower than usual lately. It's a relatively small delay, and the product itself is finished and waiting.
The path from port to your door
- October 5: The ship departs Vietnam.
- October 25 (estimated): It arrives at the Port of Los Angeles.
- About a week later: Containers are unloaded, cleared through customs, and trucked to our fulfillment warehouse.
- Then we ship: Orders start going out.
That moves our original October 15 ship date to early November.
What about MagicCon Atlanta?
A lot of players have told us they want their gear in hand for MagicCon Atlanta, November 13 to 15. We want that too, and it's the goal we're pushing for. We can't promise it yet, since a few steps are out of our hands, but we'll share updates as each one clears.
Built, boxed, and almost here
Some crowdfunded products never make it out of the factory, and others keep supporters waiting a year or more. That's not the situation here. Our gear is built, boxed, and about to set sail. Kickstarter backers, your pins, T-shirts, hats, and stickers have already arrived and will ship with your main order.
We'll post again when the ship leaves port and when it lands in Los Angeles. Thanks for being part of our first run.
